2012 Waterways Ireland Schools’ Coarse Angling Competition

This annual event, organised by the Ulster Coarse Fishing Federation, sponsored by Waterways Ireland and Shakespeare Tackle was held on the Lower River Bann at Magherafelt District Council's coarse angling facility near Portglenone on the 13th October.

18 teams from schools all acrossNorthern Irelandtook part andDromoreHigh Schoolfor the first time ever had 3 teams entered. It was a lovely autumn day with warm sunshine and river conditions were good for the match with low flows on the river.
