Special Educational Needs

 

Within the confines of the staffing compliment, Dromore High School endeavours to make special arrangements for children who are experiencing learning difficulties.  These arrangements are two fold:-

a) Tutorial Classes

Year 8 - Year 10

These classes are smaller than the other classes in the same year group and specialist assistance is given to them.

b) Pupil withdrawl

This enables pupils who are experiencing specific learning difficulties to receive extra tuition.

 

At all times the aim of the school is to integrate these pupils with their peers as soon as possible.
